Havergoh
in Detmold, Heidenoldendorf, Bad Meinberg
Are you aware of anyone who is doing genealogical research
of the Havergoh family of the Detmold, Heidenoldendorf,
and Bad Meinberg area? My wife's great-grandparents were
Hermann Heinrich Adolf Havergoh and Friedericke Emile
Auguste Fricke. He was born 17 Jun 1838 at Heidenoldendorf.
She was born 22 Sep 1840 at Berlebeck. They were married
11 Dec 1864 at Detmold. They emigrated with their four
sons to Iowa, USA in 1876. I have considerable family
genealogical information on the family in USA. Our family
visited the Detmold - Bad Meinberg area in 1991. We stayed
at the Rosenkugel Gästhaus operated by Gerta Havergoh
and her brother at Bad Meinberg. Any help would be greatly
appreciated!
